What to know
The district sent a survey to parents, administrators, teachers and community members, and the board also reviewed the calendar that Conroe ISD had approved for comparison purposes, district officials said.
Based on the survey data, two drafts were made, and the one chosen mirrors the current 2024-25 school year calendar.
The following dates are included in the calendar:
- Aug. 12: First day of school
- Oct. 13-17: Fall break
- March 9-13: Spring break
- May 22, 2026: Last day of school
“We are confident that this calendar will support our academic goals and create a balanced schedule for all of our teachers,” Chief Human Resources Officer Robert Whitman said.
