Willis ISD is set to hold a communitywide bond presentation March 19 from 6-7 p.m. at the Willis High School Performing Arts Center. The presentation will go over topics, such as the district’s growth, the development of the 2024 bond, proposed bond projects and the tax impact.

The Willis ISD board of trustees adopted an order Jan. 10 calling for a $218.1 million bond election May 4, Community Impact previously reported.
According to the district’s website, the bond package is divided into four propositions:
- Proposition A ($102.7 million): Willis High School ninth-grade expansion with parking lot upgrades and a new transportation center
- Proposition B ($68.8 million): athletic complex and stadium with community room
- Proposition C ($19.6 million): aquatic center
- Proposition D ($27 million): student activity center
