Willis ISD has canceled its graduation ceremonies for the senior class of 2020, according to a Facebook post April 9.

The post said the venue where the Willis High School graduation ceremony was originally scheduled for has been closed until June 30. The graduation ceremony was planned for May 22.

WHS Principal Stephanie Hodgins and WISD Superintendent Tim Harkrider will be meeting with senior representatives to make plans for the end of the year, and students will be given an opportunity to submit their ideas through a survey on how to celebrate their graduation.
