Conroe Ice Cream Boat has set sail on Lake Conroe, co-owner Ryan Stirpe confirmed via email.

Stirpe, who owns the business with his wife, Brittney, said the feedback from the community “exceeds any expectations we may have had.”

“The night we posted our first social media announcement, we were so nervous to see how people would react, and we were blown away by the amount of positivity and support the community has offered us,” Stirpe said. “We couldn't be more excited to be on the water and are having so much fun seeing the way people are embracing the concept.”

The boat, which people can follow with its live tracker, offers customers a variety of specialty ice cream, including character popsicles, ice cream sandwiches, dipped bars and bomb pops, Stirpe said. Conroe Ice Cream Boat also carries candy, chips and soda.

“We make sure we carry something for everyone, no matter what dietary restrictions our customers may have,” Stirpe said. “Gluten-free, sugar-free and dairy-free options are available so everyone has a chance to find something fun to enjoy.”

Conroe Ice Cream Boat can be found sailing on Lake Conroe during the weekends and holidays, Stirpe said. The boat can also be booked for events.

“Our favorite moments we have experienced so far is when we are approaching a dock and see the excitement from both kids and adults alike,” Stirpe said. “It makes this whole journey worth all of the work and love we have put into it.”
