Jewel’s Teahouse is now open along Liberty Street in Montgomery, owner Catherine Brown confirmed via email.

“After my grandparents passed in 2021, my mother and I decided we wanted to open a business that was a memory to them,” Brown said. “The shop is filled with my grandmother’s antiques that she collected for over 50 years, and my grandfather has his own little corner in the shop with menu items that were some of his favorites.”

Brown said the restaurant offers items like soups, salads, baked good and sandwiches alongside beverages that include tea and lemonade.

“I was the kid that only dreamed of being a mom and a wife,” Brown said. “This dream came later in life and has become a passion for the entire family. My hope is that I am, and will continue to make my loved ones, those that remain and those that have passed, proud.”
