Set to serve up Cajun-Creole cuisine, Krawfish Kai is coming soon to Montgomery, co-owner Joe Dupree said via email.

Dupree said he and co-owner Ryan Routt love the area.

“The people of Montgomery are great, and the city has a lot to offer,” Dupree said. “We both have children that go to Montgomery County schools, and we live within the community. We want to be able to contribute to the area and do whatever we can to help make it better and attract more people.”

The restaurant will serve up dishes that include crawfish etouffee, Cajun pasta and fried seafood, alongside a kids menu and a selection of wine, beer and frozen drinks, Dupree said.

“Krawfish Kai will be a truly memorable experience,” Dupree said. “We will serve authentic Cajun-Creole cuisine as well as the best crawfish and boiled seafood around. We cannot wait to open our doors and share are passion with the folks of Montgomery.”
