Upscale sushi restaurant Ten Zen Japanese Restaurant will offer fresh sushi and sashimi, Japanese and American wagyu beef, and steak and seafood dishes, according to a Nov. 20 news release.

At the fine dining establishment, patrons will be able to savor internationally sourced fish from countries such as Scotland and Japan, according to the release, as well as a selection of sake, Japanese whiskey and wine.

Owner Wei Wang immigrated from China to the U.S. in 1992 and has 30 years of experience working in restaurants, primarily Japanese restaurants, according to the release. Ten Zen Japanese Restaurant is the third restaurant Wang has opened in The Woodlands area.

"I told myself that one day, I would open a fine dining restaurant. I knew I could do it. I just needed to wait for the right time and find the right place," Wang said in the release.
