Owner San Cheng said he is hoping for a March opening. The coffeehouse will serve bánh mì, bánh bao, stirfry, rice, bowls, hot pot and drip coffee infused with Vietnamese milk and fruit teas.
"I want to be able to showcase that Conroe can be creative, and that's exactly what we are going to do," Cheng said in an interview. "There's going to be a lot more than coffee and bread, so stay tuned."
Dragon Bowl C Noddle Bar, located at 118 Simonton St., also expanded the inside of its restaurant to join with The Corner Pub as of early January. Cheng said customers can now use The Corner Pub to dine in during lunch and dinner.
The conjoined space is open during the same hours as the restaurant, except during special or private events at the pub. 936-494-3824
