A 24,000-square-foot expansion of Lone Star Family Health Center in Conroe is set to open in late 2024, representatives said in an email.

The details

According to the email and prior reporting from Community Impact, the expansion is set to include:
  • Medical exam rooms
  • A dedicated mental health suite
  • Expanded patient intake area
  • Over 70 new parking spaces
  • A larger pharmacy with retail space
  • New space for a women’s health center
The second floor of the health center is also being renovated and will relocate business operations, representatives said.

The project broke ground in November 2023 and was originally estimated to be completed in September, as previously reported by Community Impact.




Lone Star Health Center received $908,600 in grants to fund the expansion, according to prior reporting.
