At its July 23 meeting, Montgomery City Council approved two feasibility studies to assess the city’s infrastructure needs for two proposed developments.
The studies will analyze the city’s water, wastewater and drainage systems to determine if any upgrades are necessary to support the developments, according to the July 23 agenda packet.
In a nutshell
According to the agenda packet, WGA, a Houston-based civil engineering consulting firm that provides engineering services to Montgomery, will conduct studies for:
- A proposed 75-acre single-family development located east of Lone Star Bend at the end of Mia Lago Drive
- A proposed 51-acre mixed-use development located west of Shepherd Street between College Street and Hwy. 105
Both studies will each cost $6,000 and will take 47 calendar days, according to the agenda packet.
