The lot was donated by Bold Fox Development, and the home will include four bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open concept kitchen with dining area and living room.
The Greater Houston Builders Association Benefit Homes Project began 43 years ago and features two to three homes each year built with donated land, materials and services, according to the release. The homes are sold at market value with proceeds benefiting the two local charities, raising more than $13 million in the program's lifetime.
“Empire Communities is honored to take part in this charity fundraiser that benefits two worthy causes,” Houston Division President Tracy Brown said in the release. “We are excited to partner with our loyal vendors and suppliers on the construction of this Benefit Home, and are grateful for their commitment to supporting the project through their incredible generosity.”
Venetian Pines is located near Airport Road and Loop 336 in Conroe and is approaching build-out of its 200 homesites.
Earlier this year, Ellison Development also broke ground on a benefit home in Williams Reserve East, Community Impact reported.
