Joe Moody, owner of Black Flag Properties, said a new retail center at the northeast corner of Hwy. 105 and Walden Road in Montgomery is in design. The retail center, Shops at Walden, will total 8,450 square feet of space, according to information from Black Flag Properties.

Moody said he anticipates construction will begin by Sept. 1, pending permits, and will be ready for tenants in the first quarter of 2023.

Moody said the center will include one restaurant with drive-thru access, and he believes the center is in a prime location for medical and traditional retail uses.
