Grand Central Park has opened its next section of new homes, 148 homesites within walking distance of the soon-to-open Lake House amenity complex, according to a Jan. 14 news release from Kaplan Public Relations.

The new section is part of the community's Central Village and will offer homes from the $250s by
Coventry Homes, Drees Custom Homes, Highland Homes, Perry Homes, Trendmaker Homes and Westin Homes. Plans range from 1,500 to 3,800 square feet with select homesites offering lake views.

New, move-in ready homes are currently under construction in the section, while a new Highland Homes model is expected to open in February, according to the news release.

“We already have several sales in the section even before our public announcement,” Shannon League, director of marketing for Grand Central Park, said in the news release. “It’s a very positive sign in terms of carrying the momentum from last year into 2021.”

Sales in the community grew 93% in 2020 compared to 2019, according to League.

The Lake House, scheduled to open in the spring, will feature a resort-style pool, a fitness room, a yoga and event lawn, a playground and freestanding pavilion for events and resident gatherings, and an event room with a kitchen, according to the news release.

Grand Central Park will also open Marcel Boulevard, a community development with boutique retailers, restaurants and executive office space, later this year.
