Lennar has opened a nuHome community of new, single-family homes in Willis, featuring entry-level homes with down payment assistance starting at $181,990, according to a September news release from Kaplan Public Relations. The community, known as Lake Breeze, sits on Cude Cemetery Road in Willis, on the eastern edge of Lake Conroe.
There are 13 new homes under construction as of Nov. 25, and there will be 67 homes on build-out, a spokesperson from Kaplan Public Relations said in an email. A build-out date has not been determined.
Lake Breeze offers residents direct lake access and amenities including a private, gated entrance and community pool. There are six different plans that range from 1,100 to 2,220 square feet, according to Kaplan Public Relations.
The nuHome program presents qualified buyers with down payment assistance options, available through Eagle Home Mortgage, including a 3.5% down payment assistance grant that can be applied toward a down payment or closing costs.
