A hub for residential growth along Hwy. 105, west of I-45, is rapidly developing. The 111-acre development known as Wedgewood Forest, developed by Land Tejas, includes 283 homesites. The first round of homes are expected to be completed this summer and include homes by Center Communities, Colina Homes and Westin Homes.

According to Total PR, Century Communities and Westin Homes are expected to open model homes before the end of July. Colina Homes has not released an opening date.

Presales on the homes have begun with nine homes under construction.

Nearby, the Hills of Westlake community continues to grow, with new homes being built by David Weekley Homes and Chesmar Homes. In the Wedgewood Falls Preserve community, KB Home has completed a 50-home section and is constructing a second section, with roughly 25 lots available in the existing section.

Farther west Hwy. 105 is The Shoreline, a condominium offering 56 units. Shoreline officials report 25 percent of the condos have been sold, with 42 of the 56 units still available. Buyers will move into the five-story condominium in January.
