Montgomery County has confirmed two additional deaths related to coronavirus, bringing the total to 36 deaths in the county, according to a daily case county released by the Montgomery County Public Health District. Two men from Conroe—one in his 40s and one in his 70s—have died.
The number of active cases has increased from 678 on June 23 to 724 on June 24. This is the highest number of active cases reported to date.
Of the 724 active cases who are Montgomery County residents, 13 are in the hospital. Meanwhile, 1,071 people have recovered. There are 104 total coronavirus patients being treated in Montgomery County—including residents of other counties, according to the Southeast Texas Regional Advisory Council. Of those, 84 occupy general beds, and 20 are in an ICU.
The number of total positive cases in the county has increased by 94 since June 23 to 1,831.
