The city of Montgomery invites the public to watch “Grease” as part of its Saturday Night Cinema series. The event is sponsored by Montgomery Original Snowballs. Taste some charro beans

Southern Star Brewing Co. is hosting its first annual charro bean showdown. Contestants should bring a ladle and a 10-foot extension cord and use at least one and a half pounds of dried pinto beans in their charro. The winner will receive a cash prize and a gift card. Party like it’s island time

Grand Central Park is hosting an island-themed concert featuring the Bama Breeze Band.
