St. Mary’s Quilt Show

Quilts are displayed in the historic painted church. Relay for Life of Conroe
April 28-29
The all-night event raises funds for the American Cancer Society. For the event, team members take turns walking around the track. Each Relay event is six to 24 hours in length, and each team is asked to have a member on the track at all times to signify that cancer never sleeps. 7 p.m.-7 a.m. Free, fundraising is encouraged. Farce of Nature

The Crighton Theatre hosts a comedy by Jones Hope Wooten, which portrays a day in the life of the Wilburn family from Mayhew, Arkansas, at the Reel ‘Em Inn fishing lodge in The Ozarks. Woodforest Pine Island Showcase

Woodforest’s newest estate neighborhood hosts the Hawaiian-style luau with all of the trimmings. Attendees can enjoy appetizers as well as hula dancers, fire jugglers and a steel drum band. Houston Ride for Kids
April 30
The 25th annual event includes a motorcycle ride, food and entertainment to raise awareness and funds for children fighting brain tumors through the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
