Conroe buses will now feature a new look as they carry citizens around town on new run times, according to a press release from the Conroe Connection Transit.

The Conroe Connection Transit announced effective July 15, buses on Route 291, Conroe Park & Ride, will have new run times to “improve on-time performance.” Departures from the Park & Ride in the morning and from the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in the evening are unchanged.

Milam & Texas
5:50 a.m. to 5:40 a.m.
6:20 a.m. to 6:12 a.m.
7:20 a.m. to 7:15 a.m.

Fannin & Holman
5:58 a.m. to 5:48 a.m.
6:31 a.m. to 6:20 a.m.
7:34 a.m. to 7:27 a.m.

TMC Transit Center
6:13 a.m. to 6:03 a.m.
6:48 a.m. to 6:35 a.m.
7:53 a.m. to 7:44 a.m.

Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center
6:20 a.m. to 6:11 a.m.
6:55 a.m. to 6:43 a.m.
8:02 a.m. to 7:53 a.m.

The new bus wrap will roll out in July to identify the Conroe Commuter Connection buses from the other routes operated by the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County.

Riders can pay the $8 one-way fare with cash or with a METRO Q Fare Card. Q Cards can be purchased at www.ridemetro.org, in the METRO RideStore or at some participating retailers.
