There are several high-stakes elections coming up this year, and it is critical to become a more informed resident of Montgomery County. A primary election will be held March 6 for the general election that takes place Nov. 6. Notable elections include the Montgomery County judge, and Precinct 2 and Precinct 4 commissioner seats. City elections will also be held May 5. There are several resources that residents can access to learn more about local candidates, issues and the outlook for the future of our community. The North Shore Republican Women Political Action Committee will host a candidate forum Jan. 25 at the North Montgomery County Community Center, 600 Gerald St., Willis. The Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce will also host a candidate forum luncheon Feb. 6 at the Lone Star Convention Center. Community Impact Newspaper will also provide in-depth coverage of local candidates and issues for the March primary election in our February issue.
