Montgomery City Council meets July 11
Montgomery City Council members meet on Tuesday evening to consider and take possible action on various agenda items, including water and sewer construction. Attendees can also expect an update on Buffalo Springs Drive bridge, which suffered extensive flood damage last spring. The council meets at 6 p.m. July 11 for the agenda at the City of Montgomery City Hall, 101 Old Plantersville Rd. Citizens can address the council at the start of the meeting. San Jacinto River Authority, Montgomery County, Conroe to hold public hearing July 12
Representatives from the SJRA, Montgomery County and City of Conroe meet on Wednesday for the first of three public hearings discussing a flood protection study and early warning system project being conducted on the West Fork San Jacinto River watershed. The hearing comes after the entities received a grant from the Texas Water Development Board to begin this evaluation. The public hearing is at 6 p.m. July 12 in the board room of the San Jacinto River Authority General and Administration Building, 1577 Dam Site Rd., Conroe.
Conroe City Council meets July 12-13
Conroe City Council meets this week to discuss and take possible action on numerous agenda items, including a contract for annual landscaping services, the purchase of new playground equipment for Gibson Park, using storage containers for residential dwellings, and incorporating land into the district. The council meets at 2 p.m. July 12 for the work session and reconvene at 6 p.m. July 13 for the action agenda at Conroe City Hall Chambers, 300 West Davis St. Citizens can address the council at the start of the action agenda.
