There are plenty of meetings happening in Conroe and Montgomery this week, June 12-16.

Here are a few things residents should keep in mind:

1. Montgomery City Council meets June 13 to consider an alcohol beverage permit for Taste of China Restaurant, located at 20212 Eva Street, Ste. 140, Montgomery, road closures for the annual Freedom Fest event July 1 and a possible roof repair for the Hulon House at Fernland Historic Park.

The city engineer will also present a status report on the Buffalo Springs Road Bridge repair.

2. Montgomery County Commissioners Court meets June 13 to consider approving a 35 MPH speed limit on Trade Center and South Trade Center parkways, a resolution thanking the FEMA Public Assistance Project Team for recent work on projects related to the 2016 floods and the acceptance of a $13,995 grant from the Houston-Galveston Area Council Regional Juvenile Mental Health Services Project Criminal Justice Division.
