1. Queen Boba Tea & Thai Sweets

2. Montgomery Quilt Company

Kimberly Baird, a Montgomery County resident, took ownership of the Montgomery Quilt Company on March 6, 2020, only a week before the pandemic began. The quilting company is located in a historic blue house that dates back to the 1800s and has been passed down as a quilting company and antique shop for years, Baird said.Learn more.


3. Jolly Pirate Adventure Voyage

Designed and created by Leroy Herbert, Jolly Pirate Adventure Voyage is a pirate-themed ship located in Lake-Conroe. The 44-foot replica of an ancient galleon opened in 2021 and is inclusive of all ages.Get more details.

4. Slice of Amish

Operated by Angie Miller, Slice of Amish offers customers a unique shopping experience with Amish and Wisconsin cheese, smoked meats and locally made products. Dog- and family-friendly ice beer garden Hound Hauz resides on 2 acres of green space and tall shade trees. Located on Cindy Hitchcock’s 10 total acres of land between Magnolia and Montgomery north of Hwy. 249, the beer garden opened on Aug. 7, 2023.Read more.
