The New Orleans-based coffee shop franchise, PJ's Coffee of New Orleans, is coming soon to Walden Road in Montgomery, a representative of the company confirmed. The coffee shop chain offers hot, iced, frozen and blended coffee drinks; espresso selections; tea; and energy drinks, according to its menu. Beignets, yogurt parfaits, pastries and a plethora of sandwiches are among the coffee shop’s food options as well.

A construction timeline and opening date were not available as of publication, however. According to commercial real estate firm CHC Investments LLC., PJ's Coffee will be part of the Village Square at Walden development under construction.

The chain was founded by Phyllis Jordan in 1978 in New Orleans and has since expanded to 116 traditional locations across the U.S., according to its website.

PJ's Coffee has existing locations off Barker Cypress Road in Cypress and Stuebner Airline Road in Spring.
