Small Town Famous, 312 Metcalf St., hosted a soft opening April 8 in downtown Conroe. Owner Farralyn Withrow said the boutique will offer Western-style vintage and new items such as clothes, decor and accessories.

"I run the Main Street Market and I fell in love with downtown Conroe a couple years ago when I moved here," Withrow said. "I got to know the owner of this building, and when it came up for lease, I had been looking for a little space to showcase vendors and Western vintage for awhile, it was so amazing. It was part of the old Conroe hotel, and it just seemed like a perfect fit."

Withrow said a grand opening is tentatively planned for sometime in May. The boutique is also open to buying Western vintage items. www.smalltownfamoustx.com
