The Conroe Symphony Orchestra has announced its 2024-25 season, which will include a show featuring music from cartoons as well as a holiday performance showcasing music from around the world, according to an Aug. 1 news release.

According to the news release, the CSO’s 2024-25 season will include the following shows, all taking place at First Methodist Conroe at 4308 W. Davis St., Conroe:
  • "Tunes from the Toons" on Oct. 19 at 2:30 p.m., which will showcase music from cartoons, including “Tom and Jerry,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and “The Incredibles”
  • "Christmas Around the World" on Dec. 14 at 2:30 p.m., which will feature holiday music from different cultures
  • "Great Expectations" on Feb. 8 at 2:30 p.m., which will highlight music from American classical composers, including George Gershwin
  • "The Best of Broadway" on April 26 at 2:30 p.m., which will feature Broadway actor Sal Viviano

The 2024-25 season will also include several soloists, according to the news release. They include:
  • Ukrainian pianist Olena Blauliac
  • Singer Renee Rybolt
  • Tuba player Roberto Gaitan
  • Singer Sonja Bruzauskas
  • Singer Sal Viviano

The CSO was founded in 1997 and is a nonprofit organization supported through donations, grants and ticket sales, according to the news release. Season tickets for the 2024-25 season are now on sale.
