The Woodlands Pride has canceled its annual festival scheduled for Sept. 26 due to concerns of the coronavirus pandemic, according to a press release May 27.
The nonprofit said it plans to celebrate Pride, an annual celebration of LGBTQ rights and freedom, in the fall either through virtual events or small events, depending on local and federal recommendations.
“We will celebrate queer history and the achievements of our community,” the press release said.
