More than 50 bands from a wide range of musical genres will take the stage at six downtown Conroe venues May 5-7 during the inaugural Conroe Americana Music Festival.

Hosted by the Conroe Downtown Area Association, the festival will feature performances by names such as Bart Crow, Carolyn Wonderland, The Dirty River Boys and Folk Family Revival—to name a few.

“This is the inaugural event that will grow throughout the coming years and has been over five years in the development stage through the Chairman, Rodney Pool, President of the CDAA,” said Margie Taylor, owner of Taylorized PR, who represents the festival.

Participating venues include Martin’s Hall, The Corner Pub, The Red Brick Tavern, Sparkle Ice House and two outdoor stages sponsored by Southern Star Brewery and the CDAA.

Vendors, food trucks and sponsor booths will also be located throughout the festival grounds, with food and beverages available for purchase.
