Symphonic Sights & Sounds
The Houston Symphony performs at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion with a show combining popular classical favorites with images projected on large-scale screens. Conductor Francesco Lecce-Chon will guide the audience through the night's program with education information on various composers. Orchestra seats are available for $20. Celebr8 Hot Dogs with 8th Wonder Brewery
Good Dog Houston in Montrose hosts an event celebrating National Hot Dog month with food, live music and giveaways. The eatery has collaborated with Houston's 8th Wonder Brewery to create a Texas bratwurst for the event. For $8, guests receive a pint glass and beer and a mini Dome Dog. Picnic for Pets
The Houston Humane Society hosts the grand opening of a new pavilion with a family-friendly picnic fundraiser featuring food, live music, games, vendors and a silent auction. Fees will be waived on all adoptions of Houston Humane Society pets during the event. Disney's 'The Lion King'
The Tony Award-winning musical returns for a tour in Houston. Featuring songs from Elton John and Tim Rice, the Broadway musical tells the classic Disney story with puppetry, songs and choreography.
