Wastewater master plan
Montgomery is designing its first wastewater master plan this year and will present results to City Council in February. The master plan will show sizing and location of wastewater lines, possible lift stations and treatment plant improvements. The plan is intended to help the city prepare for future growth needs.

Water and sewer rates
City Council will vote on new water and sewer rates in the spring. The new rates will reflect the cost of lift station and other municipal infrastructure improvements throughout the city. Current rates were established about two years ago.

Water projects
The city will undertake improvement projects at Water Well No. 2 and connect two 12-inch water lines near the Buffalo Springs subdivision to improve water pressure throughout the city.
