Cy-Fair natives Lindsay and Matt Laboski celebrated the soft opening of their cryotherapy center, C4Cryo, Aug. 29 at 16341 Mueschke Road, Ste. 180, Cypress.
The business offers whole body cryotherapy, which works using a walk-in cryosauna that exposes the body to temperatures of -200 degrees Fahrenheit for three minutes or less.
Originally developed to help fibromyalgia and arthritis patients, the therapy aids in a variety of health issues, including headaches and insomnia. It can also aid in immune support, blood circulation and anti-aging, Lindsay said. Facials and local cryo, used for accelerated healing on specific areas of the body, are also available.
“It’s something everyone can benefit from,” Lindsay said. "We can help recovering athletes, the elderly, those managing pain and more.”
The soft opening runs through Thursday with daily hours of 7 a.m.-5 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. A grand opening is for Sept. 3 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The first session of whole body cryotherapy is $20. Monthly memberships start at $199.
The recovery center is the first of its kind in the Cypress area. A similar concept, Cryo Recovery, opened in January at 118 Vintage Park Blvd., Ste. D, Houston.
