For the past 17 years, Tea for Two has offered its customers tea, lunch and desserts. Now, with expanded hours at the Louetta Road location, Tea For Two serves a dinner menu with options such as chicken-fried steak, fried catfish and quesadillas.
“We like to play around with different options at this location,” owner Linda Becker said. “We try whatever the customers say they want to see, and if it works we stick with it, if not we move on to something else.”
The Louetta Road location was remodeled in July to look more like a cafe than a traditional tearoom, Becker said. “We made it look more man-friendly,” she said.
Other menu items include a variety of soups, salads and sandwiches, including the house chicken salad sandwich, made with chicken, grapes, walnuts, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise.
To-go-orders are available in regular and bulk sizes, as well as catering.
The Copperfield location’s original tearoom decor is still intact, Becker said. Birthday parties, bridal showers and baby showers can be hosted at both locations.
“The little girl dress-up tea parties are really popular,” Becker said.
