After a successful holiday season, Jul’s Boutique owner Julie Ping said she is excited for what the new year will bring.
In November, the locally owned boutique opened a second Cy-Fair location on Spring Cypress Road. The fashion boutique offers stylish clothing and accessories and receives new merchandise shipments each week, Ping said.
“We’ve had incredible support from the community,” she said. “People like having a local boutique near them so they don’t have to go to the mall.”
Over the holiday season, the boutique featured merchandise from local designers and artists.
“Shopping and buying local has been a success for us,” Ping said.
In addition to the store’s personal shopping services, the boutique will offer in-store events, such as preview parties, girls night out events and private shopping events.
“With the expanded space, we can do a lot more events,” Ping said.
In early January, Ping purchased a collection of rodeo-inspired clothing so her customers could prepare for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in March.
Upon customer request, the store will also begin to offer plus-size and athletic clothing.
Within the next couple of months, Jul’s Boutique will launch a new website so customers can view and purchase merchandise online, view an event calendar and give customer feedback, Ping said.
