Femi and Ronke Sodeinde opened All Things Party last February to cater to Cypress residents who need party supplies close to home. The couple moved to Cypress in 2004 and raised their children in the community, but they always dreamed of owning their own business.

The Sodeindes eventually found that they, along with their friends and neighbors, were attending numerous birthday parties and end-of-season sports parties. Dissatisfied at the prospect of driving across Cypress to get to Party City for supplies, the couple decided to open a party supply store close to home.

"We wanted to do something that would impact our immediate community," Ronke said. "We knew there's a lot of working moms and dads in the area who would appreciate having something like this in the area with friendly service to get what you need."

All Things Party offers a variety of items needed for adult and children's birthday parties—from machine rentals to tableware and decoration and loot bags.

"We also offer custom wedding invitations and wedding accessories," Ronke said. "If you want to take your party up a notch and want fancier invitations, we can do that."

The store also offers wedding accessories like champagne flutes, fancy bridal party giveaways and personalized napkins and cups.

In 2015, the Sodeindes plan to continue growing their business and become more well-known.

"We've had an initial year of learning and getting our feet wet, so this year we hope to stabilize and grow recognition for our business in the neighborhood. We want to focus on having the reputation of being known as the neighborhood store for party supplies this year."
