Meet The Savannah Bananas and Texas Tailgaters
The community is invited to enjoy a meet and greet, autographs, and photos with members of the Savannah Bananas and Texas Tailgaters.
First FridayDowntown Bryan hosts its monthly block party featuring live music, performances, artists and activities while shops and restaurants stay open late.
JazzfestDestination Bryan and the Bryan Valley Jazz Society present an evening of music from local and regional jazz artists at Jazzfest 2026. Musical groups include the BCS Youth Honors Jazz Ensemble, saxophonist Don Pope, The Brazos Valley Big Band and Houston jazz singer Raquel Cepeda. The event will be hosted at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in the event of inclement weather.
Walk with a DocThe city of Bryan Parks and Recreation Department and Baylor Scott & White host a walk led by a doctor or health professional each month, with May’s group walking event led by family medicine expert Dr. Kris Knoop speaking about avoiding weight regain.
Paint a keepsakeChildren can visit McCoy’s Building Supply to paint a keepsake for mom, choosing to paint a wooden flower bouquet or a terra cotta pot while supplies last.
‘The Curious Savage’Stagecenter Theatre will host performances of “The Curious Savage,” a family-friendly stage production.
Family FishThe College Station Police Department and the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum present a family fishing day at the Bush Library and Museum pond, featuring a freshly stocked pond, games, educational exhibits, complimentary refreshments and emergency vehicle displays. Lawn chairs, fishing gear and a cooler to take home fish are encouraged. Fishing licenses are not required.
Car and bike showHosted by the city of College Station Parks and Recreation, the Show ‘em Off Car & Bike Show includes a Kid Zone with activities and a car and bike show. Food will be available for purchase.
Lake Walk Wellness FestivalThe community Lake Walk Wellness Festival, previously slated for April, was postponed due to weather and includes a complimentary yoga session, 5K run, local vendors, wellness demos and family-friendly activities, including activities for young children put on by The Little Gym of Bryan-College Station.
