Bryan-College Station will have a busy fall. Here is a look at some of the events residents are looking forward to in September and October. This list is not exhaustive.
Gameday on Main
Historic Downtown Bryan will have plenty of gameday spirit on what will be Texas A&M Football’s first game of the season. The game will be broadcast at The Palace Theater and The LaSalle Courtyard, free shuttles are offered to and from Kyle Field and downtown businesses will be cheering on the Aggies.
Texas A&M Football vs. Missouri State
Opening Texas A&M’s football season, the Aggies will take on Missouri State at Kyle Field.
Movie Night at Stage 12: Monsters University
Stage 12 at Brookshire Brothers is hosting a community watch party of Monsters University (2013). The Pixar and Disney film is a prequel to 2001 classic Monsters Inc. It shows main characters Mike Wazowski and Sully as they prepare to become professional scarers.
College Station Comic Con 2026
Enthusiasts of comics, anime, gaming and superheroes among other fanbases will gather at the Brazos County Expo for a weekend of pop culture. The convention will feature celebrity guests, contests and shopping.
September Vendor Market at Hotel McCoy
Hotel McCoy will host local vendors, live music and the community under its courtyard lights for guests to shop handmade goods and support local small businesses. This is a family and dog friendly event.
The Farmers’ Market in Brazos County
Local farmers connect with the community every Saturday at Midtown Park where they and other vendors sell goods and educate passersby on regional farming.

KinderHill Brew Lab's 5th Annual Oktoberfest
The locally owned brew pub, pizza kitchen and biergarten will have a stein holding contest to celebrate the German-originated festival in Aggieland. KinderHill will be tapping its annual release of Märzen lager. The event will feature food specials, including house-made mustard served with pretzels and brats and an Oktoberfest Pizza, which features beer-braised brats, red cabbage and curry Ketchup.

Aggieland Card Show
Collectors, dealers and hobbyists from across Texas will gather at Hilton College Station & Conference Center to buy, sell and trade sports cards, Pokémon cards and other memorabilia.

Art and Film/Film as Art
Kimbell Cultural Event Center began an art exhibit Aug. 28 where “cinema and canvas collide,” according to Destination Bryan. The exhibit is paired with a film series showcase to complement the art.

TAMU 150 Opening Ceremony
Texas A&M University will kick off its sesquicentennial celebration at the steps of the Jack K. Williams Administration Building with speeches and performances. A public reception will follow.
First Friday
October First Friday will be hosted in Historic Downtown Bryan, featuring live music, local art, shopping and activities.
American Patchwork Quartet
In Friends of Chamber Music’s 31st season opening performance at A&M United Methodist Church, four musicians will blend American folk with jazz and country. According to FCM, the group was nominated for a Grammy last year for its debut.

Bryan TX Songwriter Festival
The two-day music event returns to Bryan for its second year. The main stage features rising songwriters, and the VIP experience includes limited-seating performances with better known artists.
