A longtime Bryan restaurant is marking a major milestone on March 28. Papa Perez Mexican Cuisine is celebrating its 20th anniversary, honoring two decades of serving Tex-Mex favorites.
A family affair
Owners Liz and Mike Perez opened the family restaurant in 2006, and it has since become a local staple known for its fajitas, enchilada plates, tamales and weekend breakfasts. One of the restaurant’s most popular menu items is the “Golden Egg,” according to Destination Bryan.

In social media posts leading up to the event, owners thanked customers for their continued support, saying the restaurant’s success over the past 20 years has been made possible by the community.
Papa Perez wrote in a March 25 Facebook post, “We are so honored to reach this milestone on Saturday.”
Before you go
The anniversary celebration will be held from 2-5 p.m. at the restaurant and will include giveaways, throwback menu pricing on select items and a complimentary queso bar.
