A staple of the Brazos Valley is looking for new ownership to continue its legacy as Readfield Meats & Deli is slated to close for good at the end of April.
The gist
Since 1960, Readfield in the Upper Burton Creek neighborhood has been serving up premium cuts and award-winning eats, according to Destination Bryan.
A Readfield employee told Community Impact that after continuing their parents’ legacy, the Ruffino brothers are ready to retire. An official final date of business has been marked for April 30, though new ownership could come through before then.
