Florida-based Lucky Goat Coffee Co. has expanded to Bryan with a location in the Hudson Oaks neighborhood.
What Lucky Goat offers
The coffee chain sells iced and hot coffees, along with wholesale coffee beans and seasonal beverages. Lucky Goat also ships wholesale coffee to anywhere in the United States through a subscription service on its website.
The overview
During the ribbon-cutting ceremony by the BCS Chamber of Commerce, owner Jimmy Rourk said he was thankful for everything that led them to expand and open a new location in the Bryan-College Station area.
"Your support has been absolutely overwhelming,” Rourk said. “We love hospitality and people, and we're excited to bring coffee to everyone in this community and be a place for you.”
Bryan Mayor Pro Tem James Edge said the opening of Lucky Goat in Hudson Oaks is going to be part of the “explosive growth” of that area of Bryan.
Going forward
The Bryan Lucky Goat location is separately owned from the College Station location. According to the Lucky Goat blog, the company recently celebrated 16 years of operation and a mission to “make great coffee” hasn’t changed.
