As part of the city of Bellaire’s regular road maintenance program, contractors with the city replaced failing asphalt driving surface and the failing concrete below it at the intersection of Bellaire Boulevard and South Rice Avenue, extending south to Linden Street. Subgrade material was fully replaced in locations where it was in poor condition and reused elsewhere.
