The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County will be resuming its 402 Bellaire Quickline bus route beginning June 8, the transit agency announced in a June 4 news release.
Service will resume on a limited schedule for the route, which offers express connection from west Houston to the Texas Medical Center. Buses will operate during weekday hours about every 30 minutes, according to the announcement.
Safety precaution and sanitation efforts continue to be implemented by METRO staff to help protect the traveling public and operators against the spread of COVID-19. Despite these measures, METRO is encouraging riders to only use public transit for essential trips.
