The Jordan clinic became part of Legacy Community Health on July 13, according to a July 26 press release from the network. Officials with both clinics said the transition would be made with no disruption to patient care.
“Our patients’ health and wellness are of the utmost importance to us, and by joining Legacy we will continue to provide them with the high-quality care and personal attention—while also offering the many additional benefits available to Legacy patients,” said Dr. Rhonda Barnes Jordan, owner of Jordan Family Healthcare, in a statement.
The clinic offers comprehensive services for all ages, including infants, children, teens, young adults, adults and older adults. It will also continue to accept most health insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program.
Legacy offers primary and specialty care serves as well as pharmacy services with options to pay on a sliding scale for the uninsured. It is the largest Federally Qualified Health Center in Texas.
