The Bellaire Broiler Burger business and property at 5216 Bellaire Blvd., Bellaire, are now up for sale, according to the business's voicemail message.

The restaurant shut down temporarily in June to make way for a new management team, according to a June 21 Facebook post from the restaurant.

“We had a main person at our establishment that had been there 20-plus years pass away,” the June 21 Facebook post reads. “With this being said, we have new people we are training and new people in charge because of the sudden passing of the head manager. Please be patient with us in this transition!”

The owner, Tom Daneman, is actively seeking interested buyers for the business and property, according to the voicemail greeting.

Daneman has been owner of the restaurant for the past 48 years, though it has had a presence in Bellaire for about 60 years.
