The Bellaire Holiday in the Park event, originally slated for Nov. 30, has been postponed because of inclement weather, city officials announced. A Snow Day event is in the works for Dec. 30, with more details to be announced.

The City of Bellaire's annual holiday celebration returns Nov. 30, including the transformation of the city's town square into "winter wonderland" with snowfall and an array of family activities.
Bellaire Holiday in the Park runs from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Bellaire Town Square, 7008 S. Rice Ave., Bellaire. It will include an appearance from Santa Claus at the gazebo as well as a tree lighting and holiday music from local schools and the Bellaire High School Mighty Cardinal Band. Other activities will include pony rides, a petting zoo, snow slides, food from local restaurants and holiday crafts.
