Bellaire residents are showing support of both bond propositions on the Nov. 5 ballot. There were 5,554 early voters for Proposition A or 68.06%, and 2,607 votes against. For Proposition B, early numbers show 67.88% of voters in favor with 5,493 votes.

Harris County has released early voting totals for two propositions on the Bellaire ballot related to stormwater and wastewater infrastructure.
What you need to know
Bellaire officials voted in August to place two separate bonds on the Nov. 5 election ballot, including a $30 million bond for water and wastewater improvements, and a $40 million bond for stormwater improvements.
According to ballot language, the $40 million bond under Proposition A would be used for the purpose of designing, constructing, improving, installing, repairing, renovation, and/or acquiring drainage facilities and improvements. There were 5,541 early votes for it and 2,598 against it.
The $30 million bond under Proposition B would be used for the purpose of designing, constructing, improving, installing, repairing, renovation, and/or acquiring water and wastewater facilities, works and improvements. There were 5,480 early votes for it and 2,590 against it.
What else?
In early voting, there were 1.23 million ballots cast countywide, which represents 45.67% of Harris County's nearly 2.7 million registered voters, according to the Texas Secretary of State.
Totals from ballots cast Nov. 5 have yet to be released. Polls closed at 7 pm., although voters who were in line at 7 p.m. were still able to cast ballots.
