With all voting centers reporting election day results in Harris County, Jerome Moore has won the Democratic primary runoff for Harris County Precinct 5 constable.

He earned 4,794 votes, or 62.16% of votes, compared to his opponent Jerry Rodriguez's 2,918 votes, or 37.84%.

All results are unofficial until canvassed.

As of 10 p.m., 77 of 313 voting centers are reporting election day results in Harris County.

Jerome Moore maintains his lead with 3,474 votes, or 63.61%, over Jerry Rodriguez, who has earned 1,987 votes, or 36.39%.

Harris County has released early voting totals for May 28 primary runoffs, which included two Democratic candidates competing for the Harris County Constable Precinct 5 position.

The results

Early voting results show Jerome Moore is in the lead over his opponent, Jerry Rodriguez.
  • Moore earned 2,893 early votes, or 61.96% of early votes
  • Rodriguez earned 1,776, or 38.04% of votes
How we got here

In addition to Moore and Rodriguez, Don Quang Dinh and William Gorman ran in the March 5 primary race. Since no candidate earned a majority of votes, the top two vote-getters went to the primary runoff.


Moore earned 45.83% of votes in March, and Rodriguez had 28.15% of votes.

What’s next?

The winner of this runoff will face Republican primary winner, Terry Allbritton, in November. Constable Ted Heap did not run for re-election.
