The Bellaire Business Association announced a candidate forum set for Oct. 24 featuring candidates running for Bellaire's mayoral seat as well as three of the seven seats up for election this November on City Council.

The details

The event will take place from 6-8 p.m. at the Bellaire Civic Center, 7008 S. Rice Ave., Houston, and will feature a moderated panel. All candidates running in all four elections have confirmed participation, event organizers said.

The following candidates are running in the upcoming elections, which take place Nov. 7. Early voting began Oct. 23.

Whoever is elected Bellaire's mayor will serve a two-year term that will run from Jan. 8, 2024, through Jan. 5, 2026, according to city information. The three council terms will run for four years from Jan. 8, 2024, through Jan. 3, 2028.
