Several new restaurants are anticipated to open up this year and next year in the Bellaire, Meyerland and West U area.

Opening in 2025

Paul's Wine Pix

Paul’s Wine Pix, a family-owned and operated neighborhood wine bar and retail shop is slated to open at the Bellaire Triangle this summer. The new wine bar will open where the former Fire House Pizza was located, next to Bellaire Coffee Shop.


Paul's Wine Pix features a bottled retail list that includes sparkling, rosé, white and red wines, according to the store’s website. The shop will also sell charcuterie boards and cheeses, according to previous Community Impact reporting.Liberty Kitchen

Liberty Kitchen announced the opening of its third location off Morningside Drive in an Aug. 6 social media post. The coastal eatery has two locations in Memorial City and River Oaks.

The menu includes the Chesapeake crab balls, buttermilk lobster bites and char-grilled Gulf oysters. The restaurant also offers sushi and sashimi cuts such as tuna poke, citrus chili salmon Scottish sashimi and black truffle hamachi.

Opening in 2026

Atomic Wings


According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, construction is anticipated to start Oct. 31 on a new Atomic Wings restaurant located along Main Street near the Texas Medical Center and the Braeswood neighborhood and wrap up in May of 2026.

Atomic Wings serves specialty chicken wings and tenders, paired with a variety of sauces and spice rubs, including honey mustard, lemon pepper, buffalo and Thai chili. Flavors range from sweet to hot, with its namesake "atomic" accompanied by three other options classified as hot—mango habanero, hot buffalo and nuclear.Mia's Table

The casual family-friendly eatery will be located at the former site of the CounterCommon brewery, according to project registration information from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

The 6,944 square-foot restaurant has October 2026 listed as the estimated construction completion date, according to TDLR and the shopping center’s site map. Mia's Table serves a variety of burgers, tacos, sandwiches, salads and seafood options.

Ojo de Agua

Originally set to open in 2025, Ojo de Agua is now slated for an early 2026 opening. According to TDLR, an estimated completion date is set for March 2026. Ojo de Agua serves authentic Mexican and Mediterranean dishes, along with a beverage program that includes made-to-order juices, smoothies, teas, coffees and cocktails.

According to the original October news release, featured items at the restaurant will include Swiss enchiladas, mahi mahi, burrata pancakes, birria tacos and cauliflower mole octopus.
