The owners of Amrina in The Woodlands and the newly opened Pok Pok Po in Houston, are opening another Houston Midtown concept called Bol in early 2025.

The details

Previously estimated to welcome diners in fall 2024, a late December news release confirmed the postponed opening date for the new Indian restaurant from Kahani Social Group is now Jan. 30.

What to expect

The menu will pay homage to the flavors of Indian cuisine and highlight a variety of grilled meats, vegetables and grains paired with house-made hummus, sauces and dressings. Diners will also be able to mix-and-match flavors, sustainably-sourced meats and fresh produce from local farms in a single-serve bowl, per the release.

Also of note

Bol will occupy half of the Pok Pok Po restaurant on Louisiana Street. The eatery joins Midtown Houston's "bustling culinary hub," alongside JINYA Ramen Bar, Gen Korean BBQ and Piola’s, according to the release.
