Representatives for Toronto-based eatery Meltwich confirmed the restaurant will open its first Texas location in Houston's Rice Village neighborhood this fall.

Meltwich signed a lease for a 1,400-square-foot space at the intersection of Rice Boulevard and Kelvin Drive in summer 2023, Community Impact previously reported.
The fast-casual restaurant specializes in grilled cheese and poutine, according to its website. There are several locations throughout Canada but only five restaurants in the United States.
